Homeowners selling via HouseWeb.com will now reach a massive potential audience after the country's leading property portal signed a distribution deal with Yahoo! UK & Ireland.

All customers who advertise their property for sale on HouseWeb.com, which created the online private sales market when it launched in 1996, will now be available through Yahoo! Classifieds.

Yahoo! is the world's most popular Web guide, and Yahoo! UK & Ireland, according to independent research, is the nation's highest trafficking site with the widest reach.

Buyers visiting Yahoo! Classifieds can view HouseWeb.com's properties and link through to the HouseWeb.com site for more information and photographs. Once in the HouseWeb.com site, buyers will have access to over 150,000 properties across the UK.

The new Yahoo! service costs no extra for HouseWeb.com's customers, who pay a flat fee of £40 to sell their property, compared to an average estate agent's fee of £2,000.

The distribution deal between HouseWeb.com and Yahoo! UK & Ireland extends the powerful search for each home listed on HouseWeb.com, providing immediate national exposure for the properties advertised.
